You already know the value of accounting for your business.
From the money you save with efficient tax planning to the time you gain back to focus on the work that matters to you, the benefits are numerous.
With the new tax year around the corner, now could be a good time to assess your accounting requirements, and make sure your business has the right level of support.
The size of your business plays a part in determining this, along with factors like company formation, hiring employees, and your overall ambitions for growth.
We offer four main packages of services, each aimed at meeting different requirements for our clients. Plus, all of our packages include Xero, so you’ll always be up-to-date with cutting-edge accounting software.
Startups and sole traders
During the early days of running a business, you typically won’t need to think about paying employees or complex tax planning.
Instead, what’s most important at this stage is a reliable and accurate accountancy service, to manage your tax returns and ensure you’re taking advantage of any available reliefs.
Our Ben Vane package is ideal to meet these needs. We’ll take care of your personal tax return and sole trader accounts, set you up with the standard plan for Xero, and offer basic tax planning.
Growing businesses
As your business develops, your requirements are likely to be more varied.
For instance, becoming a limited company director will come with added responsibilities, and taking on staff introduces the need for a payroll system.
Luckily, we can grow with you. Depending on your business’s needs, we might recommend either our Ben Hope or Ben Lomond package.
Both of these include company accounts and tax, payroll and companies house reporting, while the Ben Lomond package adds in a quarterly Xero review and VAT review, among other benefits.
Established businesses
The more your business grows, the more important it is to conduct in-depth and regular reviews of its performance to make sure you’re on track to achieve your goals.
Named after the highest of the Munro mountains, our Ben Nevis package includes everything offered in the Ben Lomond package, but it also includes post-year-end performance meeting analysis, payroll for up to ten people, quarterly management reporting and a monthly Xero review.
